Great camp weekend

Camp went well.  We met, and worked with, new people.  Lots was accomplished.  The cooktruck got a new paint job inside.  Ovens work.  Plumbing was reconnected.  More uniforms fitted.  Plus much, much more.

It was great to visit with Jordan C. and Jared K.  Our best to Jared who is being deployed shortly.

Check out the updated 2012 Cook Calendar on the right.  Updates include changes in some competition sites (Van Buren to Bentonville, Home show is in Davenport) and we now have most of the locations for cornfield.

Welcome to April camp.  We're at Washington.  A new cooks calendar is posted on the right.

Weekend menu:
Friday snack - Nachos w/ beef, cheese , jalapenos
Saturday breakfast - French toast, bacon, oranges, cereal
Saturday lunch - Ham patty w/ bun, sweet potato, fruit, cookie
Saturday dinner - Sweet and sour chicken over rice, egg roll, fruit, cake
Saturday snack - Scalloped potatoes w/ ham, green beans, "must goes"
Sunday breakfast - Pancakes, sausage, apple, cereal
Sunday lunch - sack lunch w/ sandwich, fruit roll-up, cookie, chips

A cymbals alumnus makes some noise

Colts alumnus, Jack Borland, is featured in this DC news article. Jack and his friend Chelsea Levine (with help from his hard working Mom - Carole) have developed a way to give back to the activity. To support scholarships, they are selling specialized gloves that help cymbal players perform better.

Great job, Jack. Its been an honor to see you perform, watch the results of your teaching and witness the impact of your energy. Looking forward to seeing you on tour.
