January volunteer projects
Click on the post title or go over to colts.org to see all the projects in store for us volunteers at January camp. From the looks of it, we're going to need all the help we can get. So show up and sign up for something.
Volunteers are gathering for projects Saturday about 9:30 a.m. in the cafeteria at Washington Junior High.

Public Service Announcement
It's never too early to make your plans to volunteer for summer tour.
It's a new year. You've got all that unused vacation time to schedule. What else are you going to do with it? Go to Jamaica? Go see the new grandbaby? Go to your kid's college graduation? (Oh, wait. That's me.)
Anyway, there are few things as rewarding that you can do with your time next summer as volunteering on the Colts cook crew for a week or two or three. Book early by e-mailing Bill at colts.cooks@comcast.net with your choice of weeks! Or catch him at camp this weekend.
Brought to you by the cooktruck management team.

Drum Corps Defined
I love this definition. As we know, it's nearly impossible to explain drum corps to someone outside of the activity; this simple statement just takes care of it perfectly.

Happy New Year!
But it doesn't feel much like it with no Rose Parade this morning.
First, the local TV station doesn't carry the Disney parade with the DCI Honor Corps on Christmas morning (boo Channel 5), now no Rose Parade on New Year's Day. Bring on January camp!
Hope your 2005 was as great as ours was. We were kind of sad to see it go. But we're excited for 2006. We know it's going to be a great Colts year.
