A HUGE thanks to Lisa C for finalizing arrangements and to the Hudson Falls Fire Department for helping out and cooking for the corps today while Big Red and her partner in crime took some time off. She (Big Red) is currently in transit back to the corps, and wants to express her deepest sympathies for being a bit of a tyrant in Ohio. :) But, in true COLTS fashion, our outstanding volunteers never missed a beat, and as you can see by yesterday's pictures...the corps is extremely happy and well fed as usual! GREAT JOB ALL!

A HUGE thanks going out to our cooks as our "big red" semi decided to take an extended vacation in Ohio along with her co-hart cooktruck trailer. No worries all! The corps will still be eating like kings and queens and on their normal meal schedule. Big Red and her partner in crime will be joining back with us on friday. Everybody needs a little time off right?? :)  But all seriousness folks- all meals have been handled. Not a protein will be missed! We are proud of our long held title of the best fed corps in DCI and will go to every length to make sure our corps is fed properly. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at crysj71@yahoo.com

Locked and Loaded!

Let the tour begin!
This is the Cooktruck loading crew, after packing up at Loras College just before leaving for tour Saturday night. I intended to post this Saturday night when the corps left Dubuque, but I didn't have the blog access I needed from my smartphone. I was privileged to be able to spend 4 days volunteering for the Colts, re-connecting with old friends, meeting new ones, watching the corps, and participating in the Colts History Night. If you can spend some time volunteering to support these great kids - do it. Get some, RED TEAM! Have a great tour.   -- Jim J.
