Hi to all.... I finally made it to my first Colts banquet (after 3 years of trying) and what an event...
First..what a group of young adults! You guys "clean up" as we say, so very nice. It was hard to recognize some of the 2005 Colts in their stylin street clothes.
Next..it was so good to see all the volunteers and staff that make the Colts the great organization that it is and will continue to be. And to be able to visit and not be cooking was even better!
Last but not least..being able to relive the 2005 season and show one more time...in a room full of my favorite people was awesome.
Now..onto the 2006 season...Every year I think they can't top the previous year's concept and music..but...I am never disappointed. It looks like another fantastic year is just around the corner. I am so excited that I already got one of my tour cook weeks selected and on the calendar!!!! Hope to have a couple of more with the finest group in DCI.....
Have a great holiday season everyone...God Bless you all and have a great December Camp. I will see all of you in February....
That must have been some party! I am sitting with my nose against my screen. Try to recognize as many people as possible. Zooming in on every pixel, just to see you all guys. Hopefully David, Rod or other people made more pictures. It always gives me a nasty feeling in my stomage having to mis all the meetings. I wish I could join in more often. I must win a lottery soon to be able to fly over when ever I want.
I cant wait what 2006 is going to bring. I even feel some nerves to check in everyday to see if something is already announced. Guys, don't keep me waiting to long. I can't wait to read all news and progress.
Our banquet at home was disturbed as a thanks they gave a big storm with snow and hurricane wind speeds. Next day no wind a lot of sunshine and damage in Holland. I think we didn't release enough turkey's and see what you get.
Hope to read much about you guys as soon as possible. This BIG dutch fan keeps on tracking you Colts!!
