Oh...it was so hard to miss going to camp..
How was the new school?
How many hopefulls attended?
How was the food?
How was everybody?
Are any other camps going to be at the "new" school?
How did the new music sound?
Oh, so many questions..and no answers...
I won't be able to see everyone until the February camp....so far away.....
I want to wish everyone in the Colts family a Very Merry Christmas...I miss you all.

It truly was a great camp last weekend. I sent the e-mail copied below to the editor of the Dubuque Telegraph Herald today. Don't know whether it will see print or not, so I wanted to share it with all of you.
For more than forty years, Dubuque has been home to a treasure in the
world of Drum & Bugle Corps. News of the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps continuing climb up the rungs of success at Drum Corps International competitions during
2005 has spread across the country and into foreign countries. The Colts had a record setting attendance at their recent December camp consisting of
prospective members and returning veterans. Parents and students alike were dazzled and amazed at the awesome facilities provided at the Eleanor Roosevelt Middle School. The citizens of Dubuque have a winning combination that they can be proud of; the Colts and the new middle school. A special thank you goes to the Dubuque Community School District for allowing approximately 350
students, parents, staff and volunteers to use such a magnificient facility.
