Announcements

• Parades for today are: the Route A group will march the Vernon Hills parade at 9:00 AM and the Glen Ellyn parade at Noon; the Route B group will march the Lake Bluff parade at 10:00 and the Deerfield parade at Noon. Ask your son/daughter which group they are in.
• Front ensemble will stay at Hawthorne Middle School to practice.
• If you're stopping by the cooktruck, pick up some fresh vegetables and/or fruit to donate.  The kids love them!

• Mail Drop #2 for June 22 to July 12
  We will make weekly runs (tentatively June 29, July 4, and July 12) between Dubuque and the corps.  You may use any carrier for this time period.  Address mail as follows:

Today's Schedule - times and activities are approximate

7:00 AM - Wake/Meal 1
               Get uniform & instrument;
               Eat meal 1;
               Pack a sack lunch;
               Fill water jug.

8:05 AM - Load buses for parade route B
8:15 AM - Route B depart for parades and Route A walks to parade start
9:00 AM - Route A parade in Vernon Hills

10:00 AM - Route B parade in Lake Bluff
10:30 AM - Route A uses restrooms and load buses for departure ASAP to Glen Ellyn
12:00 PM - Second parade (route A in Glen Ellyn & route B in Deerfield)

2:00 PM - Depart for Vernon Hills; Walmart en route on return to school;
               Departure from Walmart will be one hour after arrival;
               Load equipment onto truck when you return to the school.

4:00 PM - Meal 3
5:00 PM - Buses depart for laundry (buses will NOT be staying at laundry sites)
9:00 PM - BIS at laundry
9:05 PM - Depart laundry
9:30 PM - Clean, pack & load (PB&J will be available)
11:00 PM - Depart

~12:45 AM - Arrive in Coal City, IL

Milk typically served at Meal 4.

All meals also have peanut butter, jelly and condiments.
