January camp coming on the 14th

Info for January camp has been posted at colts.org. Camp starts at 9:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14. Come early to help unload and check in. No location listed yet, but that's normal.

Make sure you get listed as coming to camp to volunteer if you are. Your member can indicate that on the RSVP form (make sure they RSVP. It'll save $10 if they attended Dec. camp.) Maybe drop Bill a note at colts.cooks@comcast.net so he can tally up who's coming to help in the kitchen. Or to help with other projects. Or to hang out with the rest of us cool people.

Here's the parent/volunteer info from the colts.org posting. Go there to read up on all the rest of the stuff.

Parents! Your son or daughter has a better chance of success with your support!

A parents meeting will be held Friday evening at 10:30 pm at the school. Bring all of your questions!

Parents are not required to attend the meeting or the weekend, but are strongly encouraged to do so. Parental support is what makes the Colts successful, and your help is needed to give the kids the incredible Colts experience we are known for. Also, this is the best way for you to find out all about our program, meet the other parents and get comfortable with what this is all about. You will find a very welcoming and exciting opportunity here.

Parents are welcome to bring a sleeping bag and sleep in a classroom at the school, or you can find hotel listings on the Dubuque Chamber of Commerce web page. As always, call us with any questions you may have.

We'll save you a spot on the floor for your bedroll.
