Today's News

The Colt Cadets contingent has arrived with two I&E entries. The cooktruck gained 2 cook/helpers in Terri and Pat. The performances last night of all the I&E entries were fab. The drum major has stepped down from the podium to join the cymbal entry in a rendition of Malagana. (I think that's spelled right except for the tilde.) The Colt Cadets brass ensemble is playing cartoon themes and their percussion is playing Sponge Bob music. Colts brass were playing something "beautiful" but unidentified in the phone call.

During the sundaes provided by the town, the mayor held a reception for staff, cooks, and drivers. Everyone is thanking Tom for such a wonderful town.

The cooktruck thanks Pip for running (apparently) on no sleep, but working every second of the day.

Quarterfinals are tomorrow. Cross fingers, toes, eyes, and anything else you can think of.
As always, check colts.org for the latest official word on tour news, housing sites, mail drops, or other corps information.

Hey cook truck!
I just wanted to drop in and thank you for all your updates this summer.
After finding the Virtual Cooktruck it has been great to follow the tour. Just wish I could smell the bus fumes and work on my tan again. I miss the corps dearly,,,and miss the amazing meals I received daily from all of you wonderful people. Thanks cooks for everything you do day in and day out. It never goes unnoticed. Geez...I still wish I could have y'all cook for me. It's still the best 3 summers of food I have eaten!
Best of luck Colts! Get Some, get some, get some ----- SEE YA!

Love to you all -

Thanks for taking the extra time to keep us posted this summer, it's been a great way to keep up with the corps.

Please let the corps know that there are lots of us fans who can't be there physically this week that are pulling for them emotionally. Good luck to the Colts this week.
I hope they put in a series of once-in-a-lifetime performances and make the big show on Saturday night!
