Today's News

Let's hear it for Jody G's crew. They're doing a bang-up job with a steadily dwindling cook staff.

Jody G says "It's blooming hot" today in Michigan. "The sun is just beating down. At least the wind isn't blowing." Apparently, the wind about blew them all away in Indiana yesterday. It really is getting to be the dog days of summer. And we're headed for Texas by the end of next week.

The corps got in about 3:30 a.m. today, just about on schedule. There was a flat tire on one of the buses, but they got it taken care of in the parking lot of the show so there was no lost time on the road.

Jody G says the dinner provided by the band boosters in Indiana yesterday was fantastic and the boosters said they'd provide food again next year. Jody says she wants to sign up for that week right now.
