Today's News
Today is "Hug a Brit Day!"

There is a Wal-Mart stop tonight. The corps should get to see the Vernon Hills fireworks tonight, which will be "right out the back door." In fact, they should be able to see fireworks from three or four towns, plus they will likely see them on both sides of the road all the way to Wal-Mart.

As always, check colts.org for the latest official word on tour news, housing sites, mail drops, or other corps information.

Dear Colts Drum & Bugle Corps,
As a newcomer parent to the Colts, I had the opportunity to serve as one of your cooks during your stay at Varna, Il. I was truly amazed at all I had observed during my short 3 days. You kids are awsome. Each and everyone of you bring something magical to the program which in turn creates a most phenominal performance. I was overwhelmed with your dedication and perserverence you bring to the Corp. It it not hard to see that you play from your heart, and in spite of the constant repetition in rehearsal, you are focused in being the best and truly love what you are doing.
I observed the looks on so many of the faces of the townfolks from Varna on Monday evening when you all did a run through for them. They were facinated with your talent and proud that their town was part of your 2007 tour stops along the way.
Finally, on a more personal note, I just want to say how touched I was at all of your appreciation you all have for those who give their time to help out. I don't think one of you missed a please or thank you while being served. Those two words are more powerful then you realize. It shows just how great and genuine you kids really are. Thank you for a memorable 3 days. I look forward to seeing you soon at some of your stops along the way.

Most Sincerely,

Mary Lou Miller

( Chews...I love you )

Thanks for the tour of the cook truck on the 4th, Bill! It was a pleasure to meet you, too, Dave; the Virtual Cook Truck keeps us in the know! Phil and Judy Kiefer (Tim's folks)
