I get emails

This one comes from Greg O, traveling with the corps.

From Greg, the quote of the season so far.

A spot at the end of the show where all 12 tubas have to hit a file exactly on the 50 yard line - and if they don't, everyone in the stadium will see it - and they weren't all getting in - Mikey Cowan, our visual co-caption head said, "Tubas, every time you don't hit that file, God will kill a puppy!" They haven't missed it since!

Classic!

Greg

Hey Colt fans...

Make sure you go over to Drumcorpsplanet - ...a really cute story about a "toddler's" view of a Colts rehearsal. Go to drumcorpsplanet.com - then click DCP Forums, then click on DCI World Class Discussions, then scroll until you find "A Toddlers view of the Colts".

A Colt alum and family were at rehearsal the other day and this is a precious story.

The Colts fan's are the greatest!!!!

The rain hit just before the solo in the Colts ballad and after the initial 'oh crap, more rain' reaction, the corps raised it's intensity and brought it home through thunder and lightning. It was an intense drum corps experience and the Colts are to be commended for keeping their focus and keeping us in our seats. WAY TO GO RED TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XOXOXO

I heard from my son(Dom/trumpet) last night after the show. He was sooooo pumped up. He said the rain was an 'inconvenience' but the timing of the lightening was perfect for the show! He said the electricity and energy vibe was the most amazing yet and the Corps did an awesome job. I hope they still broadcast the show on FanNetwork so that I can see it! I can always tell how well the performance was based on how much adrenaline I hear in his voice when he calls. Can't wait to be part of it....see you all on Saturday in Orlando.
