A HUGE thank you to Cindy S and her family for putting together the HUGE Texas-style dinner for the corps last night in Dallas. The cooks said it was "absolutely wonderful." Thank you, thank you, thank you.

It's still hot. "You don't want to do anything but get off your feet and out of the heat," Jody G says.

So DCI's show in Dallas and show in Houston on the same night and then all the corps swap cities and do it again the next night might have to be re-thought. Every time the Colts tried to stop on the way from Dallas to Houston (i.e. rest stops, for fuel, etc.), there were lots of other corps there to greet them or join them. Lots. The cooks said the first rest stop they tried to stop at was full of corps buses and it took them a long time just to drive through. Then they were competing with corps coming from Houston for rest rooms at truck stops. "There were people everywhere." Sounds like fun.
