Today's News

Food drop day. Have fun fitting things in the freezer guys!

Got in to Rock Island about 4:30 a.m. It’s overcast there this morning, but Jim R. says it’s not threatening rain.

New tuba player coming on board in Rock Island.

The show in Ankeny last night was outstanding. They have added so many cool new elements that there are too many to describe. Watch for the ‘heart’ in Til There Was You. Watch for some incredible (and incredibly difficult) work from the guard in Landworkers. And hold onto your seat when the tubas come in during the last movement. The crowd was large and packed with Colts fans, family, and friends.

The Colts finished behind The Cadets (by about 9 point) and ahead of Crossmen (by more than three-tenths).

Lots of people stopped by the cooktruck to say hi. Lots of Colts from last year, lots of parents, and lots of friends from Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, and Kansas, among other places.

And oh yeah, if you haven’t caught it yet, go out and see the Colt Cadets show. They are so incredibly cute and the show is great.

As always, check colts.org for the latest official word on tour news, housing sites, mail drops, or other corps information.
