Today's News

Everybody got a great night's sleep last night. Some cooks and all the corps got 8 hours of floor time. This must be heaven. No, it's Iowa.

Really nice run-through last night. Really great facility for practice.

As always, check colts.org for the latest official word on tour news, housing sites, mail drops, or other corps information.

Where is everybody? Haven't seen any postings under comments in days....

I talked to Bill S. from the cooktruck this morning. Luba had a food question and I was glad to help with an answer.

He was calling as the kids were coming for breakfast....oh, how I wish I was there to give them their morning howdy do's.

His latest on the postcards...may be in tomorrow night's show...but no guarantees.

He also said the accomodations are excellent and that Diane K.(my cooking partner from a month ago) who is from Charles City came and helped out yesterday. Way to go Diane!

Did you all see Byron K's and ? the cutie-pie from CG - (forgive me for my senior moment, I can't remember her name)picture on the DCI site last week in the article about Colt's progress?

One week and counting and I will be in Ankenny for a 2 week stint on the cooktruck...hope to see many of you on the road during the next 2 weeks....bring lots of fruit/cookies/jams/ or whatever.... to the cooktruck. We'll give you a big hug and thank you!!! The Colt family is the best....

I am getting my Drum Corps fix tonight in Stillwater, MN. Bringing family along and we will cheer on Madison and Cavies. Good luck in Charles City (wish you were in Stillwater...who does up these schedules anyway?)
