I hear the head cook got flowers this morning....

It's a busy day. And a compressed schedule. "We were awake pretty early to get things going."

The people at Berkmar High School in Lilburn, especially the school staff, have been outstanding. "They couldn't be nicer," Tom says.

The weather is a little bit nicer. A little bit. "It doesn't feel like it's 113 anymore. It might be only 105."

Head Cook Polly says keep bringing the powdered Gatorade. We can use all of it you can bring. Also, boxed cereal and of course fruit and vegetables.

Polly says she's seen and heard a lot of the Colts practicing for I&E at finals -- the individual and ensemble competition on Wednesday of finals week. Putting in the extra work on their own time. Go Red Team.
