I would like to say a big THANK YOU for the many people who had a part in taking care of Ashleigh Jacobes on Thursday and Friday. A special thank you to Cindy, a Colt Cadet mom, for insisting Ashleigh go to the ER, driving her, and staying; to Slaton, Jess, and Aidan, from the Cedar Rapids show, for picking her up from the ER and making sure she got the correct medicine; to Josh, a Colt Cadet drumline teacher, for picking her up and taking her back to Dubuque; and to Vicki, for letting her stay and get rested.
Ashleigh is doing well and will be back with the Colts on Monday.
This just shows how large the Colts family really is. Our children are in good hands. To everyone at the Colts, you are very much appreciated for all you do! Lastly, please consider giving blood to your local blood bank.......it really does save a life!
