Today's News

Happy birthday to David K, Ashleigh J, and Keenan C!!!

Thanks to Vicki and Jody S., both departing cooks today! On the white board is today’s goal: “Finalize and clarify parts 1-4”.

An update from the car wash yesterday: corps members were picked up from their car wash posts around 3 PM, as it was cold and rainy. After a few hours down time, they were back at it again, rehearsing for most of the evening.

Also, word from the Charlie Daniels concert was that, of course the corps did a fantastic job as the opening act. And, interestingly, despite some members not being too keen on staying for the remainder of the concert, and probably wondering who Charlie Daniels even was, it seems that once he got started, the kids really got into it, and had a great time.

The Colts arrived in Belmont about midnight, and the corps got a full 8 hours sleep. The cooks got more sleep than normal too! Because it was so cold last night, the cook truck served up hot chocoloate upon arrival, and it was greatly appreciated by the kids and staff. Today looks overcast, but will hopefully be dry.

As always, check colts.org for the latest official word on tour news, housing sites, mail drops, or other corps information.
