One word: FREEBIRD! (Or should that be two words?)

As the closer for the encore last night in Ankeny, that had the crowd rockin’. They were screaming and standing up halfway through the song. There was one maniac dad with a camera around his neck bouncing up and down in the stands, yelling, “That’s my boys!”

Cooktruck donations:
Matt M’s parents brought big tins of popcorn. The caramel-covered popcorn was particularly tasty and sticky. My fingers keep sticking to the keyboard this morning.

Derek H’s parents brought a load of cookies

Age-out 2003 Steve W brought all kinds of boxes of fruit snacks which the corps is enjoying today

Another age-out (we didn’t get her name, sorry. If it’s use, leave a comment and get credit) brought 60 dozens eggs for the corps. (That’s not a typo. 60 dozen) Thanks!

Brandon C’s parents brought lots and lots of cookies this morning in Omaha. After deciding after work yesterday that they could drive to Ankeny in time to catch the Colts’ show. Love those spur-of-the-moment Colts road trips. Nice to see you, Caves!

Ryan D’s parents brought lots of lettuce the cooks are using today.
