Today's News

There was actually some news today. Seems like some kids threw water balloons at the Colts from the cover of darkness during ensemble last night. Staff members chased them and got a license number or some other description that allowed police to identify the water balloon throwers, find them, and bring them to the school. They turned them over to Carla. I don't guess they could think of anything worse to do to them.

Charlotte Sinclair arrived from England last night to take her place in the bari line. She finished all her exams for her degree and then hopped a plane for Delhi. (Not a direct flight, I don't think.) She was a bit nervous about joining the horn line since she hadn't been able to make many camps and was days late getting on tour because of school, but she got a big Colt welcome and went right to work.

Thanks to Tom (Frank the truck driver's son) for helping out on the cooktruck, restocking the paper goods and generally just for being around. He's a big help, the cooks report.

The corps is doing very well, despite some people having to sit out with injuries and a rash of rash. Lots getting done on the drum solo and Ride, as I understand it.

If you see Nick the drum caption head, remind him to drink more water.

As always, check colts.org for the latest official word on tour news, housing sites, mail drops, or other corps information.
