Today's News

There were showers in the area this morning around breakfast time, but the sun was trying to poke through the clouds about an hour later. Here's wishing for good weather tonight for the show in Ankeny.

Lots of people out to watch the runthrough last night at Saydel. The Colts had a good, strong run and the staff told them so afterwards. The walking tacos for snack were a big hit. Way to go, Carole and crew.

Thanks again to the Saydel music boosters for a great BBQ dinner and fixins last night. That really allowed the kitchen staff to catch its breath and get ready for a pretty hard run of travel and shows this week. (Did anyone else notice that the first four shows are in four different states this year?)

Tonight I get to do one of the hardest things I do all year. Stand in a parking lot after a show and watch the corps caravan leave without me.

As always, check colts.org for the latest official word on tour news, housing sites, mail drops, or other corps information.
