Today's News
The Harrises showed up with their fruit drop.

It was 98 degrees yesterday. Today started out hazy with a nice breeze. All of a sudden, it cleared off and it was beastly hot again.

The stadium they've been using is great -- lights and big stands -- but it is artificial turf with little black granular rubber that comes up through the turf -- I know exactly what Rod was talking about because our high school stadium has the same turf. The turf makes it about 10 degrees hotter on their feet.

The band boosters at Naperville were great. They brought all sorts of donations, food and non-food. They did a cookout Saturday for the Colts and then did root-beer floats for snack.

Rough duty for cooks: "We stayed in the band practice hall with the a/c turned way up. It was freezing in there. It was awesome," Rod says.

As always, check colts.org for the latest official word on tour news, housing sites, mail drops, or other corps information.
