Today's News

Barry reported in from the cooktruck today that: "We're having another Box 5 day on the food trailer." He says the Colts and cooks are having "a spiffy little day. Warmer and not so blowy. Yesterday, everytime we opened the doors, everything blew away."

It was so chilly last night that the cooks served soup for snack. "They loved it," Barry says.

The cooks got to see mock-ups of the show postcards yesterday. "I can't wait to see the big ones," Barry said. The postcards aren't in the show yet but should be soon.

There were fireworks during he show last night -- real ones. "We don't know who was shooting them off, but they worked well with the ballad. We thought maybe we were adding pyrotechnics to the show...."

The plan for the Summer Premier show is that the Colt Cadets perform, the Colts do the show and then the Colts do something called "Encore Format Performance." Must have something to do with the no-retreat show format this year.

As always, check colts.org for the latest official word on tour news, housing sites, mail drops, or other corps information.
