Today's News

No call yet from Belmont. Seems reasonable as they are not overstaffed today. Will update when I hear something.

Thanks to Sue Harris for taking time out of what looked to be a busy day to call last night with Monday's menu!

As always, check colts.org for the latest official word on tour news, housing sites, mail drops, or other corps information.

Hello to all...

Just got back from a week of cooking....worked with a fabulous group of ladies. We made it thru without a male the entire week! Except for the one time we had to wake Bob from an afternoon siesta...(we had used up the gas and didn't have a clue how to transfer tanks and supper was 2 hours away)...all went well.

I can't say enough about the kids in the 2005 Colts! They are hard working, polite and a very funny group of young adults. They kept us amazed at the stamina they have in 90 degree weather with winds at 30 miles an hour. And then they had the energy to keep us laughing in the food line when serving. Oh...to be young again.

The 2005 show is complete and on the field...and what a show it is! We got a sneek peek at the gigantic postcard proto-types...can't wait to see them on the field.

So...from a tired head cook...my thanks to all how helped make last week such a success! I am anxious to get back to the cooktruck in three weeks and also to see all the progress that has been made.

My only request is....

BRING COOKIES.....or FRESH FRUIT watermelons, bananas, apples, etc.
...either would be so very welcome.

A BIG thank you to Jody G. for being such a great leader for the all lady crew. You made our adventure alot of fun.

I'm sure all the kids appreciate the great food and your endless support.

One of the members at the car wash told me he didn't understand why Jody is still volunteering to cook - because she could surely get paid to do it somewhere. I thought that was a nice compliment.
