Today's News

We arrived in Lancaster last night. "From one windy city to another."

We are eating very well today, as we have been with Barry on tour.

The show was awesome last night. I think the people really appreciated it. The kids looked totally awesome in their uniforms.

"We're just having a great time."

Thanks to Bev F. for calling early this morning.

As always, check colts.org for the latest official word on tour news, housing sites, mail drops, or other corps information.

Thanks for the Contra photo. I can tell from the feet that my favorite contra is still alive!

I like this contra photo, too - simply for the fact that in it they are not wearing those awful pink shorts the section has now!!

The show in Belmont was great!!!
The Belmont community came out in full force to support the Colt Cadets and The Colts.Nice job Cadets and thank you Colts for performing the show twice.
Should I be afraid to see the Contra section shorts???

Lori...Thanks for the info on the show...glad to hear it went well...

I see that cookies are on the menu...I hope that means that they are starting to appear in the cooktruck for the kids. Keep them coming.......

I can't wait to see the contra section shorts! They bought them at Wal-Mart on Friday night...but we cooks didn't get to see them on Sat.

Katie P. (female contra) says they rock!!!!! Pink must be their color... But how they got pink shorts to fit so many different sized kids is beyond me? They have tall Matt to vertically challenged Katie.

Let's see...it must be the "bright color" year....the soprano's have shorts in a bright yellow...and they are eye catchers. Now pink for contra's...these must be fashion statements of some kind.

Can't wait to get back on the road...hope lots of you are going to be in Coon Rapids and Mankato this weekend to cheer on the Colts...

Can WAIT to see The Colts this weekend on Firday and Saturday. I am so excited to see how far a long they are. I am so happy that they are that far along, I wish i could march this year, but the good ole lung is keeping me away.
