Things have finally dried out a bit for the Colts, with a day and a half now of no rain. The daily schedule has been up in the air because of rain and wet conditions, but they hoped to be on the main field for Vis by mid-afternoon and possibly ensemble tonight.
Because of a lack of a dry field to work out on last night, the corps got to go to bed early (10 p.m.) They were up at 7 today and ready to go again.
Thanks to Carole, who left today after a week as head cook. She left a note on the cooktruck that said, in part: "It is always hard to leave such a talented, energetic group of people. You are truly and inspiration." She closed with: "Have a great summer. Happy eating. Go Red Team."

Meanwhile, June 14 in Bloomington, Indiana: Jim and Barry were missing the cooktruck, so to stay in practice they happened to be standing in the parking lot when Carolina Crown pulled into town for a week of rehearsals. They helped set out breakfast and Jim made two unnecessary trips to the hardware store while helping to properly connect the truck to the water source. Barry noticed that the griddle needed cleaning but decided he only does that for corps he loves. They ran into Katrina P. who showed up to see a friend. They didn't stick around to help start the generator.
