As you may already know, most (if not all) of the hotels in Bloomington are already sold out for finals. For what it's worth, here are a couple of nearby places where people could stay for at least part of the week. As of today, there seems to be availability for August 5-7 at:
- Wampler House Bed & Breakfast (0.82 mi from the Colts housing)
- Eagle Pointe lakefront condominiums
- Canyon Inn at McCormick's Creek State Park
And, if you want to go in with friends and spend a bit of money, the Baker Place Guest House seems to be available for the entire week. This is a 3 bedroom upscale condo in the heart of Bloomington.

Thanks for the info on housing and reminding me to get our room!
Everything in Bloomington is booked (except for one that doesn't seem to be that great).
We were able to find a room at the Always Inn Brouwn Country B&B in Nashville which is about 15 miles east of Bloomington. It looks really cute!
You're welcome!
Brown County and Nashville are great. If you're able to get rooms there, I don't think you will be disappointed.
There are a lot of great things to do in this part of Indiana when you're not watching drum corps, but that's a topic for another post on another day.
we had trouble also finding room close by,and also booked with always inn in nashville.
